Wix Patton

Wix Patton brings a unique perspective to the DGD Podcast, combining his firsthand experience as a former player for the Georgia Bulldogs football team with the creativity and passion that defines his successful career as a recording artist. 

A native of Peachtree City, Georgia, Patton played tight end at the University of Georgia after excelling at Landmark Christian School, where he stood out in multiple sports. During his time in Athens, he gained invaluable insights into what it takes to compete in one of college football’s most prestigious programs, providing him with an insider’s understanding of the culture, preparation, and expectations that shape Georgia Bulldogs football.  

Upon stepping away from football, Patton decided to pursue his musical passion full-time. Since then, he has built a growing fanbase as an independent artist, using his platform to share authentic stories and represent Bulldog Nation beyond the football field. His remarkable journey from SEC athlete to musician has been showcased by numerous media outlets, emphasizing his commitment to chasing a new dream while staying connected to the Georgia community.
